The Parishes and Deaneries advisers and administrative staff provide information, advice, guidance and support for those who work with children and young people. These include volunteer and paid workers, trainee students, school chaplains, teachers and clergy, readers and partner agencies. Read more about our role and core activities.
Our purpose
Services for children and young people in parishes and deaneries form an important part of service provision across Somerset. Based on the Christian faith and its values, we provide opportunities for the personal, social, educational and spiritual development of children and young people.
